Bh – Commission Earrings – for E. M. ‘soft star’ styled pillowed shape 17mm has Emma’s diamonds (5.3mm, 5.4mm) x2 = 1.24ct , chisel set to centre with surround of Emma’s smaller diamonds (1.7-1.8,mm) x10 = 0.25ct. (Add further x10 diamonds 1.3mm 10= 0.10ct). Chisel texture and polished edges and reverse. Post and 12mm butterfly fittings. 9ct palladium white gold.

This solitaire © Bh ‘leaf lattice’ design has a stunning Ceylon sapphire (2.55ct Asscher-cut) from our own gem collection. Set with four claws within a tapering square à jour setting. Reverse tapered band 4.5mm wide at the back, reducing to 3mm at the top. Size P-Q. All hand constructed in 18ct yellow gold with x4 18ct palladium white gold fine rectangular claws.

. . . well, wedding bands + a ceremony and a big-bash and a happy union into the future.

Commissioned handmade wedding rings for our dear friends; Jess Eldridge & Brett Harris in Ross, Tasmania. Each 3.5mm x1.9mm, her’s in 18ct yellow gold, recycled from family rings, size 01/2. His of 925 bright silver, size T1/2 Each hand stamped to the outside of the band 2024 03 16 1600 HOURS.

We have almost finished the figures for December 2023 – and we have achieved the biggest month ever, our 44th studio sale and then the completed commissions all add up to a ‘best ever’ result . . . so thanks to everyone who visited and those who ordered via SMS and email.

The biggest surprise was receiving this early ‘leaf lattice’ ring back for setting checks and restoration work including a loose diamond. Barbara was a-taken-back seeing it again, it isn’t mentioned on the master list and we have no visual documentation of this carved lattice ring. Upon examination we see wear showing on a few settings so we un-set the nine diamonds, removed and re-made new settings for each and fitted and re-set the x6 white and x3 ‘pink’ diamonds.

Large cabochon stones have certainly been our favourites to collect, we have started making up our own stones into special ring and pendant stock because we can’t keep on keeping everything we have strived to own . . .
