The graphic above has all the detail but it possibly can’t communicate all the fun and excitement shared between the client and the maker. Linda ran the Gallery store at the Queensland Art Gallery for many moons and has always been a great supporter and with her team they have built up an exciting venue for our retail work in Brisbane. Linda, Iza & Peter, staff and Gallery Guides have all been keen agents for commissions over the years. Now it is Linda’s turn and we are delighted . . . much more to report.

These Aquamarine earrings and pendant were left set and Barbara devised a new surround that clipped over the original setting. The increased scale and contrasting oxidised finish have brought out the blue in the gems much better than my scan, I have to say. ‘Aqua Slinky Choker’ is another great collaboration with Trisha and brings dated favourites up-to-date.
Commissioned Wedding Bands similar to our own ones in that they are two golds and hand stamped with personal specifics Thursday, Mar 8 2012

Margaret Myers has told us much about her dear Mother – Ethel Roe and we were all ears. Ethel made two rings, one each for her daughters when she started silversmithing at 90 years old. There is a hoot of a story behind the sapphire find also but I simply can’t make that public. Bob and Margaret are friends from the Queensland Chapter of the AGHS but really we have so much more in common and now we are sharing and bringing new objects of desire and memory into the world.
