The Cobb design and the final chunky yellow and white gold ring: Tuesday, Mar 27 2018

It is easier for repeat clients to just go-for-it . . . it should be easier for new contacts also. Our blog reflects the commission process and the long list of requests turned into reality.

Showing the ‘thank you’ card before publishing the two wedding rings Saturday, Mar 24 2018

They are so over the moon with their wedding rings, Barbara had them sitting on two leaves on the desktop when they arrived . . . “turning over a new leaf” was the presentation theme. Now the rings are secreted away until after their discrete event – no one knows its happening so I can’t whisper a thing nor show you the pics.

Most recent ‘signature’ bracelet commission © Bh 2018 Thursday, Mar 22 2018

Practically every new client makes contact through a friend who is a client or via a positive piece of feedback. Sue G is a long time friend of Fiona K and mentioned the locket commission when she first made contact. We were in Sydney for another event and met up with her at the AGNSW restaurant where all her sentimental family material was pulled out and spread across the table. As usual we documented each piece and Barbara and Sue continued their communication via emails and phone calls. We also documented each stage of the process from metal melt to gems reset. We even posted the final piece as a movie on Instagram for the client view. Rather than send in an express post trackable satchel, Sue is waiting to collect her new bracelet when she visits us in Brisbane (with another couple of tasks). Lovely material – lovely client – lovely outcome (same old story) . . .

I haven’t posted any of the ‘thank you’ cards received for ages now Sunday, Mar 4 2018
