Barbara sees this commission less as a piece of jewellery, more as a portrait of her collaborator Friday, Jun 14 2019

Eloise collected this adjustable length ‘seven charms’ sautoir made with various unique elements which stand for lost or remembered jewels, new specifics and items from our collection. Made with 18ct gold in rose, white and yellow as well as silver, bronze, Iolite, onyx and pearls. It’s first outing was in Sydney on election night 2019 with many of our friends and clients. Earlier design documentation.

Not so much a commission but a swap with a friend Friday, Jun 14 2019

One of our main ‘go-to’ shops in Richmond, Tasmania is Walker & Walker (colonial antiques & campaign furniture) (home wares) (hand crafts) (books) (garden furniture) (good vibes). Ben & malE were collaborating on a table top for our pair of stamped convict made iron trestles. While we were at his house in North Hobart, Ben showed us all the things he found under the floorboards when renovating the kitchen.

Porcelain shards, beads, coins, cutlery, thimbles etc . . . we ended up taking three pieces home with us and these two brooches and mounted beads were created for Ben’s wife Maddy and daughter Hollie.

The first thing we did on our last visit was to hand over to Ben who gifted them that night. He texted back the following day “hey, great to catch up Monday, girls are over the moon and had no idea – thanks again, cheers Ben”
