The National Apology has taken place, the stolen generations are now seen as human beings instead of (at worse) curiosities most damaged by the decisions of previous governments and parliaments . . . and what does John Howard do at this defining hour?, he stays away and turns his back on the progress made – shame on you Howard! To mark this multi-generational apology I’m publishing three ’sorry’ graphics from my ephemera archive, two are as old as the orignal goings-on and the last one is from 2005 when many Australians raised their voices against this dishonourable failure to set the record straight.
The Apology transcript is here – http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/bfull-textb/2008/02/12/1202760291188.html
